BIU needed a robust, reliable and scalable disaster recovery solution whilst looking to implement an enhanced modern storage plan to enable business growth.
BIU's IT team worked with their Dell Premier Partner, Upgrade to evaluate the available options for their needs. This evaluation included carrying out the analysis and sizing of the environment whilst also taking into consideration BIU's strategic goals and forecasted growth.

Dell KACE today announced that Darrick Wood School, an academy and specialist technology college based in Kent (UK) has selected the Dell KACE K2100 Deployment Appliance to migrate the school's laptops and desktops from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Office 2010. The appliance will also provide more flexible provisioning of ICT services across the school.

- First up for 2017 will be a company paintball civil war, or possibly we might even take on some real service personnel, which is rather daunting but we’ll give it a go! March 12th is the date with donations coming from a split of the entry fee paid by each warrior.
- Then in April our COO, John Kelly will be taking on the London Marathon for the first time and as part of the official RBL team! This is going to be a seriously tough challenge for him but he's set himself a high standard and fancies breaking the 4hr mark. - For the summer, the team are cooking up a one-off 6 peak challenge!!! Not the normal mountains of Britain but the rather more achievable (in a single day) 6 highest peaks of Surrey! Headley Common (201m/659ft), Box Hill (195m/640ft), Ranmore Common (190m/623ft), Green Dene (208m/682ft), Pitch Hill (244m/800ft) and the giant Leith Hill (248m/813ft). We'll drive or maybe cycle between each base camp then release the hounds to the summit and back! To compound the challenge there's talk of fancy dress or being tied together and even an attempt to set a record!
- Hopefully October will see us once more joining the RBL in their annual Poppy day launch, which in previous years has seen our gallant team abseiling down Guildford Cathedral!
- Other than that there are those that want to tackle another Tough Mudder and one lady who has sort of agreed to have a go at wing-walking!!!! Watch this space for more news...

Return a product?
Eligibility must be established prior to returning products to us by contacting our sales team who can discuss the issue. Please have your invoice number and account number to hand. A return request form must be completed (signed and returned) prior to any return authorisation.
A restocking fee of up to 30% may be applicable.
