Unified Communications Specialist - Sales

Office based – Tilford, Farnham, Surrey GU10 2DZ

Upgrade are a well-established, UK based, B2B IT Reseller, offering all forms of hardware, software, services & solutions, specialising in Server, Storage, Cloud Back-Up/DR and Cyber Security.

Now we’re looking for someone special to develop our sales capabilities and revenues in the field of UC. To build up a new supply chain/product portfolio and to lead, by direct example and in collaboration with our experienced team, the sales effort of UC products and services to our existing databases and cold prospects.  It’s a brilliant opportunity to bring together your UC knowledge and direct B2B UC sales experience to create a valuable new channel / revenue stream and hopefully make some excellent sales commission from this exciting growth area!

You will already be an experienced UC Sales-Person…

  • Currently active in UC sales or within the last 3yrs
  • In/from a B2B sales environment where you directly sold a full array of UC software & hardware solutions (either as a Reseller or Distributor) to Corporate clients, including from a cold-call starting point.
  • Who has previously engaged directly with UC vendors e.g. RingCentral, 8x8, Mitel, Jabra et al.
  • With a proven track record of hitting sales targets and are able to provide three consecutive proof of sales commission earned (i.e. redacted payslips)
  • That lives within 10m radius of our HQ (GU10 2DZ)
  • Whom will work office-based from our HQ 5 days pw 8.45-5.15pm M-F
  • With a valid driving license and car

Role overview

  • Development of a productive UC sales pipeline for yourself and the team
  • Leading the UC sales development through your own proactive calls / communications with prospects, existing and new
  • Working within a team of other experienced IT sales-people to help/train them to build their own UC sales pipelines
  • Working with a cohesive range of UC vendors to build a comprehensive portfolio / offering for the company
  • Compiling UC sales & marketing material for your own use and that of the team
  • Finding sales leads for our other non-UC Specialist Salespersons – Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud (as they will for you)


  • Basic salary + sales commission (uncapped / target based)

Wonderful I.T. Telemarketer

This is an unique opportunity for someone who really enjoys Business-to-Business telesales, has the relevant experience (direct telesales experience within the IT industry - ideally as a reseller) and likes to work amongst a great, experienced and friendly team, based in the Surrey Hills (GU10 2DZ).

Working side by side with the main sales group you will use the phone (primarily) but also email and MSTeams to work through our extensive client records looking for fresh opportunities.

In line with the required experience the successful applicant should be disciplined, self-motivated, punctual, with a good grasp of English & Maths and a sound knowledge of modern business IT infrastructures and Cloud computing.

Ideally, applicants will live between 0-10 miles of the location.

  • 8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday (although part time hours may be considered)
